Over the glorious sunny May Bank Holiday weekend, keen British Eventing spectators journeyed to the Cotswolds to attend “the most important sport event in Britain”; each with their picnics prepped and beloved pooches in tow, and of course, their purses at the ready for that inevitable splurge.

Yes, Badminton was yet again underway, there are a thousand reasons why Badminton is one of British Eventing’s most anticipated events in the equestrian calendar; we couldn’t have been more thrilled to return for our fourth year of exhibiting.

The Wednesday trot up welcomed an abundance of the sport’s top riders, almost all of who chose to compliment their outfits with a touch of Fairfax & Favor.

It goes without saying that we loved each outfit, however one of our favourite ensembles was perfectly pulled off by Badminton first timer, Georgie Strang, wearing an incredibly stylish number, all blacks and tans, her stunning Hicks & Brown Fedora beautifully paired with our black Kensignton ankle boots.

As for the gentleman riders, Sir Mark Todd and Tom McEwen stole the show once again; proving dapper is a look everyone can wear, while our Mayfair’s acted as a firm favourite with both chaps for the second year running.

Of course, no list of style icons would be complete without Pippa Funnel, who looked as sharp as ever as she trotted up Billy Beware in a pair of heeled chocolate Regina’s, fashioning them with the most wonderfully striking orange jacket, complete with a bold, multi-coloured lining.

That said, Kate Honey proved to onlookers that the matchy-matchy game was alive and kicking; the plum tassel on her tan Regina’s adding a delicate splash of wow to her look, which was perfectly topped off with a fedora hat.

Our Amira boots proved positively popular with several top names in the Eventing game, such as the likes of Gemma Tattersall, Caroline Powell, Flora Harris and Georgie Spence, each opting to flaunt the over the knee favourite.

Thank you to all of our customers who braved the heat and the bustling crowds to come and visit us, it was a pleasure as always to welcome you onto our stand. To top it off, celebrations were in order as this year we were over the moon and humbled to receive the prestigious title of ‘Best Trade Stand’, an accolade to our dedicated show team.

Congratulations to all the competitors for their stupendous efforts, here’s to a superbly fantastic week, thank you Badminton Horse Trials, and see you next year!
